A whole catalogue in one afternoon
Simply upload the files you already have — a PDF catalogue, a Word document, a spreadsheet, a scan with no text layer — or paste a link to a gallery page, an Artlogic private view or a WrkLst presentation. WrkLst reads the works out of them page by page, work by work, images included, and matches each artist to your contacts.
A spreadsheet gets a suggested mapping of its columns to the fields of a work, which you adjust before applying. Everything lands in a review table first: tick, correct or drop any row, and nothing is written until you approve the import.

Where AI is used
- The import
- Import a PDF catalogue, a spreadsheet or a link to a gallery page, and WrkLst reads the works from it, page by page and work by work, and shows you every record for review before anything is written. The model is open-weights and hosted in Switzerland. The prompts used to extract your data are never recorded and never used to train a model.
- Work details
- Copy unstructured work details from a document and paste them into a work — WrkLst automatically recognises the artist, title, year, dimensions and more. The pasted text is never saved, and the same model and the same rules apply as for the import.
- Website translations
- For a WrkLst website in several languages, WrkLst translates your texts into each language on request, with a model hosted in Switzerland; a machine translation stays out of search until someone has reviewed it.
- Your own assistant
- If you wish, connect WrkLst to your own AI assistant and automate as much of your work as you like. Through the so-called MCP interface, assistants such as Claude or ChatGPT work with WrkLst directly and efficiently and take care of your tasks for you. You control for how long and for what the assistant has access: it works with exactly the permissions of your user role, and you disconnect it in your settings whenever you like.
- Always optional
- AI in WrkLst never runs in the background, and never anywhere that is not marked as AI. Where we use it, it is clearly labelled and optional — you decide each time whether to use it. And if you want no AI at all, a single setting switches every AI feature off for the whole workspace.

- A single setting in your account turns AI off for everyone in your workspace. The AI-assisted parts of the import, the filling from work details and the translation help for your website become unavailable, and everything else in WrkLst works exactly as before.
- For your assistant
- An assistant connected through MCP appears as a connected app under your profile. Disconnect it there at any time — or reset your password, which signs out every connected app and device.
Hosted in Switzerland, used only on request.
The import’s AI runs on open-weights models hosted by Infomaniak in Switzerland and answers only the request you make. Your images, prices and notes are never used as training material — neither by us nor by anyone else.
