Independent specialists who implement WrkLst.
The specialists
T8 Partners
New York
For more than fifteen years, T8 Partners has advised private collectors, families, entrepreneurs, cultural leaders, and corporate clients on the development and stewardship of highly individual art collections. Its work spans every dimension of collecting—from acquisition strategy, market research, valuation, due diligence, and negotiation to long-term collection planning, curatorial development, and professional collection management. T8 Partners has also overseen the digitization and archival documentation of more than 200,000 works, helping clients build accurate, accessible, and enduring records of their collections. WrkLst supports this work operationally, allowing T8 Partners to bring structure and accessibility to collections. For T8 Partners, collection management is not separate from collecting—it is fundamental to how a collection is protected, understood, and strengthened over time.

Are you an inventory specialist?
Do you have experience with WrkLst, or would you like to gain it? A listing here requires having implemented WrkLst in depth with at least one client, working with us along the way — so we get to know each other and you get to know the software. If you would like to be listed afterwards, write to us; we train specialists and support them through migrations.
What a specialist does
They start from where your archive stands: they assess the records and the workflow, advise on sound archival practice and draw up a plan of action — what comes first, who does the work, how WrkLst is set up for your studio, estate, gallery or collection. Where the work needs people, they help find and train qualified staff.
We do the migration, following the plan made with the specialist: catalogues raisonnés, spreadsheets, older databases and folders of images come over to WrkLst, reviewed record by record before anything goes live. We train your team on the software; often the specialist gives the first training and stays on for the questions about your collection.
Some go further. Davila-Villa & Stothart plan an artist’s legacy together with the artist and their family — with lawyers, executors and trustees on the estate — and prepare sales and donations to museums; T8 Partners guides private collections into private foundations. What each firm does is described above, in its own words.
