Designed like a publication, filled from your archive.
Design it once, make it for every exhibition.
A design is pages of texts, pictures and shapes placed freely to the millimetre — on A4, A3, A5, US Letter, US Legal or a size of your own — with rotation, opacity, layers and a letterhead on every page that shows it. A picture may fill the page to the edge of the paper, cropped and zoomed inside its frame. Upload your own fonts and name your text styles: change the headline style, and every headline follows.
Every text and picture can come from your records: the exhibition’s title, dates and artists, its installation views, each work’s caption, price and pictures, an artist’s biography. A repeating page makes a tear sheet for every work; a text flow runs a press release or a biography over as many pages as it needs; an attached PDF — a CV made from a template for each artist of the show, a price list from the Media Library — goes in where it belongs, and everything becomes one PDF.
Start from an exhibition booklet, tear sheets or an artist CV, or from an empty page. The editor shows the design filled with a real record, page count included.

Accurate
Captions from the record
Titles, dimensions, editions, credits and prices come from the works as they are recorded, with the same captions and permissions as every other document: nothing copied into a layout, no old price in last year’s file.
Sharp
Pictures at the size they print
Each picture is taken from its full-resolution original at the size its frame needs — 300 dpi in the PDF — so a full-page installation view is as sharp as the photograph.
Repeatable
One design, every show
The next exhibition’s booklet is made by choosing the exhibition: the design stays, the content follows the record. A cover picture, an artist or a PDF can be asked for each time it is made, and for one record the order of the works, works or pages left out or a picture cropped differently are kept with that record, without touching the design.
Shared
A design for the whole team
A design is for everyone, for everyone but changed only by you, or yours alone; anyone may copy one to start their own. Offer it in the share menu of exhibitions, works, contacts or biographies, and it is made in the background while you work.
Every other document, from the same records.
Word
Templates you edit in Word
A .docx with fields such as {{title}}, made in Microsoft Word or any program that saves Word files, downloaded as Word or PDF. Pictures at 72, 160 or 300 dpi, several styles of one template, and the file always downloadable to change it again.
PDF
Ready-made layouts, set up in a form
A list of works, a full page per work, or every picture on its own page with its caption: your logo, letterhead lines, footer, page numbers, typeface and picture size, with nothing to write. The invoice document is set up the same way.
HTML
Layouts written to the line
A page written in HTML with the same fields, its paper size, orientation and margins set in the template, and printed as a PDF — for documents that follow a house style exactly.
Excel
Spreadsheets to sort and pass on
Works, lists, contacts, sales and consignments as Excel, with the fields you choose, the header row frozen and, where you want them, the pictures in the sheet; contacts also as CSV.
Under Settings › Templates you add ready-made documents in one click — a proforma invoice for a shipment’s customs papers, a price list and an address list for a list, an insurance schedule as an Excel sheet — set up in your account’s language and adapted like any other template.
From the record you are on.
Share menu
On every record
Works, lists, contacts, sales, sales reports, consignments, shipments, exhibitions and biographies each offer their templates and designs in their share menu, to everyone with that module’s share permission.
Downloads
Made on our servers
A document is made in the background and shows its progress under Downloads in the top bar. It finishes even if you close the tab and waits for you when you come back.
Media Library
Made once, used again
A PDF made on a work, an exhibition, a consignment or a shipment, in a presentation or a message, is saved to the Media Library and added in the same step: no download and upload again.
Email
Works as one PDF
Send works by email as pictures with their captions, with the caption inside the picture, or as one PDF. Contacts marked Don’t reach out are left out of letters and labels unless you include them for a business letter.
